Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani movie shows the journey of two different worlds Naina(Deepika Padukone)and Bunny(Ranbir Kapoor)and their crazy journey with an ultimate destination “Love”. Naina is a simple and hardworking girl while bunny is a merry go round boy for whom life is all about being crazy. They meet each other to celebrate the weeding of Ranbir ‘S best friends Aditi(Kalki Kochin)and Avi(Aditya roy kapoor). The film shows how two different worlds discover love and madness for each other.

Bunny: Ranbir Kapoor
Bunny is charming and fun loving, full of spirit and an indomitable spirit of adventure. He rejects mediocrity and longs to leave his life at home behind to travel, see the world and embrace the freedom of being unattached. Passionate and resourceful, we see Bunny grow from a young student full of unconventional ambitions to a hard working videographer on a travel show, chasing and concretizing his dreams. He embraces a modern value system and wants to be answerable to no one but himself.
Naina: Deepika Padukone
Naina is a simple, good-natured and extremely focused girl. Frustrated by the restrictions she needs to put on herself to achieve her dreams of being a doctor; she impulsively decides to go on a trekking trip to Manali to give herself a break. Through the film, Naina transforms from the restricted claustrophobic person she thought she was to a free spirited woman with a newfound love for herself and comfort within her choices. She is strong and dependable and stands firmly for rooted family values

- Wake Up Sid was the first movie directed by Ayan Mukherjee.
- Ayan Mukherjee is the son of Bengali Actor Deb Mukherjee and nephew of Joy Mukherjee. He is the first cousin of Kajol and Tanisha Mukherjee and second cousin to Rani Mukherjee.
- Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is the first movie Ranbir and Deepika’s doing together after there much talked about break up.
- Dharma production put best of the efforts to promote the movie which would result in decent opening in first weekend.
- Songs are the chartbusters already.
- This is the only big release of this week which would result in decent opening for sure.
As go by promos Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani seems to be a vibrant movie with Ranbir and Deepika looking great together. I am impressed with the journey of Ayan Mukherjee till date as film maker who has done decent job on his directorial debut film with Wake up Sid. To be very up front I am not expecting it to be a classic flawless venture however still with sincere Ranbir and Deepika around with good supporting cast and prominent director with youth appealing storyline, I am optimistic about this movie and my gut feel says it would be decent entertainer. With big budget movies there is always a risk associated as stakes are high and recovering the money for producers, distributors and exhibitors is totally depend on first two week’s performance of the movie at box office. For the first week movie works on the buzz it has created and there comes the real test when audience reactions comes out with every passing day.
