My Gut Feel and comments:
I am a big fan of Mohit Suri’s work, his sensibility of cinema is astonishing. Being in mid 20’s he has directed films like Kalyug, Woh Lamhe and Awarapan, which were intense and high on human emotions. Understanding human emotions so well and presenting them on the screen at his age is a remarkable story in its own. He directed all his movies under Mahesh bhatt’s banner except his last film Ek Villan. Partnership of Vishesh films and Mohit Suri put a deliberate attempt to keep a strong content with low budget. Cherry on the cake is the mesmerizing music which worked in their favor both commercially and critically. In Showbizz it’s a difficult task to ensure consistent performance with commercial gains. Mohit Suri has been an exception to this saying as he kept his feat grounded and to large extent credit goes to Mahesh Bhatt as well for this. Humari Adhuri Kahani seems to be no different than his past projects and is a trade mark product of Mohit Suri. Movie is expected to be an intense, mature love story with remarkable performances by all the three leading actors Emraan Hashmi, Vidya Balan and Rajkummar Rao.
Title track of the movie is just out of the world. I heard the complete song several times since yesterday. A thumps up from my side and I am expecting it to be a good movie showcasing interesting side of a love story which we have not seen on celluloid off late.
I would give this movie 3.5 out of 5 stars, five days before the release.
