My Gut Feel and comments:
Film is set up in 1970 and that era seems to be well captured on celluloid. Both Ranveer and Arjun are looking great in promos. With yash raj banner’s backing the whole canvas looking vibrant with extravagant sets and action sequences.
As I go by the promos it looks like that first half of the movie is dedicated to die heart friendship of two main lead of the film and then due to some twist in the tale they went against each other by second half because of the common love interest that is Priyanka chopra. In case of “once upon a time in Mumbai dobbara” there was a similar plot which I predicted as a main backdrop of the screenplay however comparing both I am sure this track must have handled well in Gunday as compare to “once upon a time in Mumbai dobbara”
I am sensing some flaws in the script and screen play would deprive this movie to be a cult of hindi cinema in the league of gangster base movies which we have witnessed in last two decades.
I am giving this movie 3 stars out of 5 stars, one day before the release.
