Story line: Sriram Venkat (Imran Khan) is the most small-minded guy on earth who doesn’t value relationships, family, friends, life or the country. Well not essentially in that order, because he even doesn’t care about the order. This makes him the clear ‘black’ sheep of the family. At some point this shallow man begins to narrate the story of the crazy relationship he shared with His ex girlfriend Dia Sharma (Kareena Kapoor), who is a hothead social activist and wanted to change the world. An attraction which was physical at first, but after that got emotional and lastly veered into complex territories, that resulted in a conflict of ideologies and mindsets which drove them apart, literally in a bitter manner. Sriram believed that charity begins and ends at home, whereas Dia felt that you have to be the change that you want to bring about, either in home or in society. However, Sriram realizes that he is not over with Dia and still loves her deeply, and that she is the best change that ever happened, and will happen to his life. But Dia has moved on and is now in a murky village in Gujarat called as Jhumli. Sriram somehow lands up in Jhumli to take his love back, but Dia refuses to go back with him. Annoyed and faced with the final challenge, Sriram realizes the only way he can impress upon Dia to come back with him, is by making Jhumli independent. By helping others in life, something he is just not used to do, this is now the biggest quirk of fate in his life. What he doesn’t bargain for are the several road blocks he might encounter with, in the face of politics, corruption and clueless villagers. But the biggest obstacle he faces eventually is himself – His own moral stuff which isn’t up to the challenge he has undertaken. Will Sriram be able to win back his love? Will he be able to bring about the change in Jhumli, as well as in himself? This is the story of a boy to win over his love and his struggle to cross a bridge, a bridge that bridges the love and gap between two people.

My Gut Feel and comments:
As I go by the promos it looks like a typical dharma production trade mark movie which is conventional in nature, a typical urban set up with ideally no surprises on screenplay and narration. Both Imran and Kareena looking very much typical and reminding their characters in ek mai aur ek tu. I am not against this style of movies however this is an era of experimentation and with new generation of directors expectations are high. This is second film of Punit Malhotra as director and it looks like that punit sticked to the formula film where boy is chasing girl in second half of the movie and earn her love at the end. Film would offer some light funny moments however would stay conventional throughout. I would give this movie 2.5 out of 5 stars, one day before the release.
