Story line: It is the action-comic flick of the Bollywood. It is the sequel to earlier version of ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’. The audience will once again get to see the sizzling chemistry between the rocking Deol power-trio along with some unique music tracks. The super-hit trio of Dharam (Dharmendra), Paramveer (Sunny Deol) and Gajodhar (Bobby Deol) reunite, this time in the United Kingdom! Paramveer opens up the “Yamla Pagla Deewana” club and re-encounters a visit with Dharam and Gajodhar, after their last presence in Canada. Now, the trio are back with double the masti, double the fun, double the action, with the presence of an fool (Johnny Lever), and double the romance, with the Suman (Neha Sharma), and Paramveer’s love Reet (Kristina Akheeva).

- Sangeeth Sivan directed ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana 2’ which is the sequel of a hit movie ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’. Sangeeth Sivan is a popular screenwriter and film director of Hindi and Malayalam films. He is mostly known for his super hit Malayalam movie Yodha. Sangeeth Sivan is a son of well known filmmaker Sivan. His brothers are well known cine personalities Santosh Sivan and Sanjeev Sivan. He commenced his career in the film industry as a director through a Malayalam film named as Vyooham. It became very popular and helped him in establishing himself in the industry. After directing his all time hit movie Yodha he has been considered as a leading director in the industry. Sivan’s Bollywood debut movie is ‘Zor’ starring Sunny Deol. The movie was average at the box office but Sangeeth Sivan’s efforts were appreciated. Then he worked upon Jackie Shroff’s movie ‘Sandhya’ and then Chura Liya Hai Tumne. Both the movies could not be successful at the box office. His remarkable Hindi movies are ‘Kyaa Kool Hai Hum’ , ‘Apna Sapna Money Money’ , ‘Ek The Power Of One’ and Click. These movies were average at the box office except ‘Kyaa Kool Hai Hum’ and ‘Apna Sapna Money Money’.

- The first film Yamla Pagla Deewana was directed by Samir Karnik and was a one of the hit of 2011 with The total worldwide gross box office collection amounted to Rs 86.50 crore. Dharma production put best of the efforts to promote the movie which would result in decent opening in first weekend.
- As per my analysis and understanding both Samir Krnik and Sangeeth Sivan has different style of film making which would definitely reflect as you watch Yamla Pagla deewana 2.
- Deol family have a very loyal and emotional fan following in north India which has given the box office boast for their past two ventures Apne and Yamla Pagla deewana.
- Much Awaited movie Ye Jawani hai Deewani released one week before this movie, if ye jawani hai Deewani picked up nicely at box office then definetly it would impact Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 at box office.
My Gut Feel and comments:
Deol family’s films USP is the innocence, emotions and no skin show which has a mass appeal and brings complete family to theaters. All three deols Dharmedra, Sunny and Bobby deol has great screen presence and this always worked in the past although not on large scale however alteast with their loyal fan following in north India.
As I go by my gut feel this would be an average comedy film, do not use brain while watching it. Enjoy all three deols sharing the screen together. I would give it 2.5 stars out of 5 , one days before the release date.
