My Gut Feel and comments:
Length of this movie is 2 hours 17 minutes and budget is approx. Rs 20 crore. “Masti” which was released in 2004 was an average movie with some really funny moments. There is a thin line between a reasonable adult comedy and being cheap and vulgar. Problem with Bollywood adult comedies is that most of the time Bollywood adult comedies fall in the category of vulgarity. Indra Kumar with his initial offering “Masti” was on the side of adult comedy however it seems that with “Grand Masti” he has crossed the line and has fallen into the bucket of vulgarity. Promos are provoking and deliberately pushing the viewers to come and watch something extravagant. Budget of this movie is moderate which increases the chances of movie recovering the invested money.
I would give this movie 2.5 out of 5 stars, five days before the release.
